I introduced a brand new illustration style for TripAdvisor. LNC tasked me with creating storyboards for four videos promoting business-oriented products on TripAdvisor. The initial step involved crafting a completely unique illustration style for the videos. Each video showcased a different location, enabling a diverse range of illustration styles. The campaign primarily targeted property owners seeking to enhance their TripAdvisor ratings.

Challenge
The project involved several key tasks aimed at enhancing the visual identity and promotional content for TripAdvisor. Firstly, I worked on developing a new color scheme aligned with TripAdvisor's existing branding. Additionally, I established a brand-new animation and illustration style, ensuring it adhered to Tripadvisor's brand guidelines concerning colors and typography. The overarching goal was to showcase the diversity of TripAdvisor's clientele, featuring unique hotels from around the world in each video, thereby creating visually engaging and brand-consistent promotional materials.

While storyboarding, I had to consider drawing inspiration from diverse global locations, including European cities and Japanese hot springs. Consequently, I crafted scenes set in a city, Greece, and Japan to capture the essence of these distinct places.

I thoroughly enjoyed creating the visual identity for TripAdvisor, marking them as my first major client. Crafting these storyboards was a delight, and their return to LNC for more animations was rewarding. Undoubtedly, it was a bucket list project for me. The highlight lies in my pride for the results, as this project significantly enhanced my client communication, storyboarding, and visual identity skills.
